The journal welcomes submissions on a diverse range of topics in the field of History and related sciences. They will enter into a selection process carried out by the Editorial board according to the submittal classification.
The Scientific Secretary will submit the selected articles and studies to be evaluated by two reviewers who are members of the Scientific board of the Journal and do not have any personal or professional connection to the author(s). The identity of the reviewers will not be disclosed to the authors.
Reviewers have the obligation to complete the evaluation form and send the conclusions to the Editorial board within 30 days from the date of receipt. After evaluating the article in terms of its scientific merit, the reviewers will hand the evaluation form to the Scientific Secretary who will summarize the comments and communicate them to the author.
The decision on whether an article is accepted, revised or rejected taking into account the reviewers’ recommendations, will be taken by the Editorial board.
The author takes responsibility for the grammatical correctness of the publication.
The authors grants all their rights for the unpublished materials.
The following criteria will be taken into account in the evaluation process:
- Relevance of the topic: the importance of the topic in the research field indicated by the author.
- Originality of the research: presentation of previous research on the subject; methodological correctness and its validity to the detriment of other methodologies; the documentary sources used; quality of interpretations and conclusions; updated and carefully selected bibliography.
- Quality of the presentation: the concordance between the title and the object of study; the comprehensibility of the abstract associated with the content of the article; logical and clear organization of content; academic language, grammatical correctness and clarity of expression.
- Recommendations for publication:
a. the article is accepted in its original form
b. the article is accepted with major modifications
c. the article is accepted with minor modifications
d. the article is rejected
Note: Each criterion is graded from 5 to 1.
